Spring strode into Colorado, got pelted with a few million snowballs, staggered back, then cautiously sneaked back into the state like a rabbit at a coyote convention — and you know what that means: convention season is here again!
I’ll be kicking off my own personal convention season at Conclave of Gamers (April 21-24). Unlike most cons I’ve been to, Conclave is largely dedicated to open board gaming: play what you want, when you want, at whatever table you can take by force find empty. In addition to this board game utopia, the con also hosts a large number of RPG events of the more traditional “scheduled” variety.
You can find the whole schedule (such as it is) here, though as a self-serving PSA, I’d like to draw your attention to the three slots I’ll be running:
- Storm Masters of Karthador – Friday, April 22, 7:00 PM
- Storm Masters of Karthador* – Saturday, April 23, 2:00 PM
- Ghost Punchers at Camp Blood – Saturday, April 23, 7:00 PM
The con has been growing every year, and this year looks to be the best one yet. I’m looking forward to running some Karthador and Ghost Punchers, and would love to see you there!**
* Yes, this is the same adventure as Friday night. But if I have time between now and then, I might swap it out for a new adventure I’ve been working on.
** Except you, Carl. I don’t want to you see you. You know what you did.
