I’ve accepted the One Game a Month challenge of creating a new game each month in 2013. I’ve accepted this challenge with the full knowledge that I will fail. I failed already, in fact, when my February game died on the operating table. Still, it’s a good experience for me, and results in free games for you, so it’s a win-win situation.

Below are links to the games I’ve finished for this project. They aren’t necessarily good games. They certainly aren’t attractive (well, except for Drakkenhart). But the important thing is that they’re done and playable.

  • Drakkenhart – I wrote and helped design this atmospheric 2d platformer as part of the 2013 Global Game Jam.

  • Spawner Squash – This simple top-down shooter challenges the player to shut down all the spawners before being overwhelmed by the monsters they spawn.

  • Mind Strike: Out of Sight – My first Twine project, this story game puts you into the role of a psychic in the Mind Strike storyworld.

  • Ape City Escape – The first board game on this list, A.C.E. has the players racing through an ancient city, snatching up treasure and dodging man-eating apes.
