On Facebook, there’s this cool app that lets you create your own (simple) quiz and gift apps. I’ve used it a couple times, and was planning to use it as yet another prong in my multi-pronged plan to drag the Darrell Hardy experience into 2010, but last night I got an e-mail from the company. It said that Facebook had just taken them off-line due to violation of the blablablaspamblabla… So that prong might have to remain unpronged for now.

…And maybe a cog or two.

After letting the site languish for a year, I’m finally bringing up to Web 2.0 standards, with integration into Facebook, Twitter, and… oh, let’s say YouTube. Not that I have anything to share on YouTube, but someday I might. And it might be awesome.

(Insert video link of Darrell taking a baseball to the crotch. Now again, in slow motion.)

Last week, I ran a session of the Ork! roleplaying game. This is notable because 1) This is the first time I’ve played it, and 2) I’ve had it since GenCon 2000.

As for the dozens of other RPGs I’ve picked up since then but never played… I’ll get to ‘em. Just give me a couple more years.

Did you hear that? Sounds like music coming from the old Hardy place. Yeah, I know. It’s supposed to be abandoned. But look over there — fresh paint! And Carl swears he saw a light on in the window last week.

Come on, let’s take a look. Oh, don’t be that way. I’m sure they just sold the house or something, and the new people are getting it fixed up. Okay, sure, if there’s a ghost, we’ll leave. I promise.
